I was really nervous about getting an iPhone speaker this inexpensive and small, but boy am I happy with my purchase.

First of all, this thing is small, like maybe a foot wide (that's a good thing). It doesn't way much, is easy to move around, and the battery lasts a LONG time. I bought the bluetooth version because I hate having my phone stuck in the dock when I need to send a text message, etc., and I'm very glad of my purchase (even though it cost $30 more). Bluetooth pairing is quick and reliable. And it LOOKS GREAT.

Some bitched about the foot on the bottom not locking out. This is true of the dock version (715i), but NOT on the bluetooth version. The bluetooth speaker has a spring-loaded foot that pops out with the push of a button, and it's quite sturdy (and stays out), with the hinge at the top instead of the bottom (if I remember the way the 715i's worked at Best Buy). The 715i isn't spring-loaded and, while it works fine, isn't nearly as robust. amazon logitech discount

Some have said that it gets distorted at high volumes, and I haven't seen this to be the case. It sounds great quiet, but when I have parties, I crank the volume on my phone and my speaker to the max, and it sounds great...I actually can't leave it like that unless it's a very quiet song, because it's TOO loud.

One thing to note about Bluetooth: that 33 foot range is definitely true. If you have your phone in your pocket, you also may get slightly less distance. My suggestion is to keep your phone somewhat close to the speaker if you're going to be moving around a lot...but at least you can still pick up your phone and change songs, send texts/emails, etc. ALSO: I'd suggest putting your phone on vibrate, as every alert tone will sound QUITE LOUDLY through the speaker. Cheap Logitech Wireless

DEFINITELY a great purchase. discount logitech Would have loved Airplay, since it iPhones will only send music via Bluetooth that originates on the phone or a streaming service like Pandora/Spotify (in other words, using the Remote app to play music stored on your computer won't work). This is fine, though, as its rare I want to do that.

If you're unsure, go try it at Best Buy, although they usually on have the 715i. Then get it for cheaper on Amazon!

I purchased a pair of these a couple of years ago to replace a very expensive set of Altec Lansing speakers that had gone kaput on me. While the AL came with a subwoofer and created a strong (though sometimes irritating) bass, these little speakers have more than held their own. I had originally thought to use these just as a temporary replacement before buying another more expensive system, but they worked so well that I abandoned that idea. The sound quality is really good. I'm no audiophile, so if you're looking for something that produces within a certain range or to go with your Dolby system then you'll be underwhelmed. What I can say (as a casual gamer, movie watcher, and music listener) is that they produce a good sound that can be easily heard, doesn't get tinny when the volume increases (though I have never maxed out the volume simply because there was never a need for me to) and is a frugal buy. Design-wise they're unobtrusive, and I like that the vertical style doesn't take up a lot of space on my small desk. I just purchased another set for my computer at work and have been able to play video clips and presentations without any complaints about not being able to hear, even from the very back of a large room.

These are TOTALLY a great buy.
Use mine on my kindle to boost Volume for movies. Have 3 pair under our roof.
No worries about ruining pricey speakers.
For music listeners, you'll do better to get something more.

I usually don't review products on Amazon, but I had to make an exception for this speaker system. First off, I am not an audiophile in the slightest, but I do enjoy high bitrate music. Most of my music collection consists of Apple Lossless files. I previously owned a Harmon Kardon Sound Stick II 2.1 system, but unfortunately they stopped producing sound. Being a little strapped for cash, I searched for a replacement 2.1 system which provided both adequate sound quality and value. I purchased the Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 2.1 system based on all the positive reviews it received.cheap logitech For the price of $30, I wasn't expecting much. However, upon listening to the system for the first time, I fell in love. This system sounds amazing FOR THE MONEY. Like some other reviewers mentioned, this system is a little lacking in the midrange department. Don't let this stop you from considering this system though. The high's are very crisp and clear while the low end in some parts sounds a bit hollow. However, one reviewer suggested a fix for this: Place the subwoofer firing DOWN. This i feel not only deepens and extends the low end, but gives you that nice jiggling feeling in your stomach that deep bass provides. Again, I have to stress this system is ONLY $30. These are great speakers. I use them primarily for music and am always pleased with their sound quality. The only bad thing I can point out is the power cord on the subwoofer is pretty short. It's nothing that an extension cord can't handle though.

For the price this set is just perfect for the casual audio listener. If you need something for your computer that works great but you don't feel the need to have 5.1+ then these should fit the bill. Look great and sound great - for the price I couldn't expect more. The set has been in use for about 6 months and still work very well. NO problems to mention, no complaints. Used about 2-3 hours a day. I may need anther set soon for a different computer!
